LoginTC stopped prompting for authentication after installing Exchange Cumulative Update (CU)

The LoginTC OWA Connector makes modifications to OWA files to add an additional LoginTC authentication prompt for MFA. These modifications are typically preserved when installing Exchange Cumulative Updates (CU). However, recent versions of Exchange Cumulative Updates now overwrite these modifications, preventing the LoginTC authentication prompt from being displayed.

To address this issue we recommend to uninstall the LoginTC OWA Connector prior to applying a CU and the reinstalling the LoginTC OWA Connector after the CU has been applied:

1. Stop public access to your Exchange OWA
2. Uninstall the LoginTC OWA Connector (see instructions)
3. Install the Exchange CU (see instructions)
4. Reinstall the LoginTC OWA Connector
5. Restore public access to your Exchange OWA

If you have already updated Exchange to a CU that stopped LoginTC authentication prompt from being displayed, uninstall the LoginTC OWA Connector and reinstall it.
